Pelicano’s Pizza: Authentic Italian Flavors in Rocky River

I have lived in the area for a while, but just tried Pelicanos for the first time the other day. I really enjoyed the food. We just got a couple of pizzas, but they were both very good. There was nothing fancy about the pizza, but it hits the spot if you are looking for a standard, take-out pizza. The sauce and crust were both very good and made it stand above some other places.

Can not say enough positive things! I work for Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, and we hosted a large scale event this past week that was catered by Pelicano's. Due to a catering snafu we called Pelicano's last minute on the recommendation of one of our staff that had used them for a small party. When I spoke to the staff, they were wonderful. They helped me decide how much food was appropriate for the amount of people expected. In addition to being extremely helpful, their pricing was incredibly reasonable for the amount of food we received. On the night of the event, we had an influx of attendees and found ourselves short on food. When I called them to see what else we could order on short notice, they were so accommodating, fast and sincere on the phone in a moment of panic - truly so grateful to have worked with a small business that was so lovely and kind.

Tried this place for the first time last night, because our usual pizza place has really been striking out lately. I was impressed with the whole experience! A super polite and friendly person took my order and food arrived in less time than they said it would. The pizza was really tasty and great crust. Flavorful and delicious chicken and jojo potatoes. It was also really affordable. A four piece chicken, potatoes and slaw was $12. We were able to get that + 2 small specialty pizzas for under $50 bucks with delivery. We will definitely be ordering again.

Very tasteful pizza near Lakewood and Rocky. Great service from the person ordering to the delivery driver. Some of the best football average priced pizza in the area. Would order again.

Never had a bad experience here with quality or service. We've always had superb service from the employees and well prepared delicious pizza, chicken, salads, pasta, and shrimp dinners. Pelicanos is our favorite pizza in our neighborhood; we happily support them.

Good experience, family operated. I made order close to closing, but they still took my order, some things I couldn't because of time. But I was treated well, I didn't mean to be a douche and order before closing, so all in all 5 stars. I really try to support local business. Everything tasted amazing. I also had a big order. Had to feed the whole family.

We bought and picked up our order of roast beef, lemon chicken, chicken tenders, stuffed cabbage, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Plenty of delicious food. Only $199.00. Let them do the cooking. Great for large get togethers.

We love right around the corner and can't believe we just tried it. The gluten free is delicious and so reasonably priced. The salads are always so fresh and a great value. We eat here at least once per week now!
